First Western Trust Moves Corporate Headquarters

May 20, 2013

DENVER – May 20, 2012 – First Western Trust (First Western) is pleased to announce the relocation of its headquarters in downtown Denver from the Tabor Center to the 1900 16th Street building in the newly revitalized Union Station neighborhood. First Western has exclusive signage at the top of the building

“Our relocation to the Union Station neighborhood is a testament to the ever-changing entrepreneurial spirit of this city,” said Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western. “We are committed to the economic growth and development of Denver, and we are proud to support this up-and-coming area.”

1900 16th Street building has achieved Gold Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Core and Shell (LEED-CS) certification program. Citing its commitment to sustainable practices and innovations, the LEED certification was a convincing factor in First Western’s decision to move to the new location. First Western will occupy 26,441 square-feet on the 5th floor and 23,143 square-feet on the 12th floor. More than 100 First Western employees will occupy this new location in Denver.

Keeping with its commitment to be part of the local neighborhood, First Western incorporated unique elements of the area into the office space. The conference rooms are named after Denver streets and historic landmarks, such as the D&F Tower and the Tivoli. The innovative conference room on the 12th floor easily transforms into one large space or two smaller rooms. First Western will use the rooms to host client education events. Additionally, the firm will offer local nonprofits use of the space for meetings and planning sessions. Finally, First Western’s robust art collection of works from artists who live and work in the American West will be on display throughout the office.

First Western, headquartered in Denver with 11 offices throughout the West, integrates objectives-based wealth management solutions with private banking, trusts and estates, investment management, retirement and insurance advisory services.
