Fort Collins, Colo – April 20, 2016 – First Western Trust is excited to announce Kristi Benningsdorf, president of First Western Trust, Northern Colorado, has been named the winner of BizWest’s Women of Distinction Banking & Finance category.

Now in its eighth year, the Women of Distinction award honors women in Northern Colorado who represent some of the best business people as well as the most energetic volunteers and mentors.

“We are excited that Kristi has received this honor,” said Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western Trust. “Kristi has such a passion not only for helping her clients but also for mentoring her team. She is certainly deserving of this distinction.”

Kristi brings more than 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry in Northern Colorado, having held executive level positions at First Bank of Yuma and Centennial Bank. She joined First Western Trust as president nine years ago. Kristi is also a committed member of her community, serving on the Board of Directors for the PVH/MCR Foundation as well as the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery.
