Getting to Know Eileen
What person, living or deceased, would you most like to meet?
I think the person I would most like to meet is my maternal grandfather. He died when I was quite young. I was born on his birthday and always felt that somehow that more strongly connected us. He lived through some very difficult times. He changed jobs throughout his life in an effort to provide for his family. He was a fireman, a baker and a laborer. Unlike most men in his day, he had a wife (my grandmother) who worked outside the home as a teacher. I think he would have some interesting stories to tell.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Laughing with my friends and family over a great meal.
What is your most treasured possession?
My most treasured possessions are my family photos. I love the memories that have been captured over the years.
