Connecting Generations 2014: Local Entrepreneurs Discuss Their Legacy
October 30, 2014
Connecting Generations is a series dedicated to helping families connect through legacy planning. While we often think of legacy planning as the material wealth we leave behind, Connecting Generations helps us recognize that there really is much more to life. Legacy is about sharing your experiences, memories, defining moments, and hopes with the next generation.
In this year’s annual Connecting Generations event, we brought together a panel of three local entrepreneurs: Wynne Odell, CEO of Odell Brewing Company; Brad Florin, lifelong technologist and entrepreneur; and Lisa Clay, CFO of Advance Tank and Construction and owner/president of Clays’ Ace Hardware.
The panel, moderated by Alexis Owen, First Western Trust’s director of philanthropic services, shared their experiences running a business, hopes for life after work, their defining moments, and the meaning of legacy.
