First Annual Community Legacy Award

First Western Trust presented the first annual Community Legacy Award at the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado 2014 Annual Celebration of Philanthropy. As part of the Connecting Generations Series, the Community Legacy Award recognizes a family and key leaders who have made a difference in the lives of others and have built an enduring legacy in the community through business and philanthropic activities.
This year, Kristi Benningsdorf, President of First Western Trust, Northern Colorado, and Jim Sprout, Chairman of First Western Trust, Northern Colorado, presented the award to Mike and Janene Dellenbach, long-time members of the Fort Collins community.
The award honored the Dellenbach family’s commitment not only to building business and philanthropy within their community but as to recognize their commitment to creating a family legacy in words, actions, and shared memories that connects the many generations of the family.
