Denver, CO – September 4, 2018 – First Western Trust is pleased to announce a new addition to its Northern Colorado office. Graham Cauthorn, CFA, as senior portfolio manager will oversee investment management strategies and portfolios within First Western Trust.

Most recently, Mr. Cauthorn served as senior vice president, director of portfolio management for BBVA Compass Global Wealth, overseeing the company’s North Texas region. Additionally, Cauthorn was a voting member of the group’s investment policy committee and also managed the trust and asset management investment account review process.  Prior to BBVA Compass Global Wealth, Mr. Cauthorn worked at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co as senior vice president, portfolio manager, responsible for trust and portfolio management and serving on the firm’s equity committee.

Mr. Cauthorn brings more than 30 years of trust, wealth management and discretionary portfolio management experience to his role at First Western Trust. Graham earned his BBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at the University of Texas – Austin; is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®); and a CFA charter holder.
