Denver, Colo – January 20, 2014 – First Western Trust is pleased to announce a new addition to its Cherry Creek team. As Senior Vice President, Marty May will oversee business development strategies to create a valuable, holistic experience for First Western’s clients.
Marty brings more than 20 years of banking experience to First Western. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Front Range Bank where he helped grow the his group’s core deposits by over 100% and loans outstanding by 150%. Previously at American National Bank as a market president, Marty managed commercial and consumer lending, treasury management, and branch operations.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from the University of California at Irvine and the University of San Francisco. He also attended Western Banking School in San Diego and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
