First Western Trust Recognized as One of Colorado’s Most Community-Minded Companies
First Western Trust has been named an honoree of The Civic 50 Colorado by CSR Solutions of Colorado in partnership with Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service. First Western Trust was officially recognized during The Civic 50 Colorado Awards on September 19, 2019.
The award recognizes First Western Trust as one of the 50 most community-minded companies in Colorado determined by an independently administered and scored survey. The Civic 50 Colorado awards, modeled after Points of Light’s national program, provides a national standard for superior corporate citizenship and showcases how companies can use their time, skills and resources to impact local communities.
“Volunteering and giving time outside of the office is an integral part of our First Western culture. Our associates find volunteer work rewarding and fun, and it’s a great way to get to know and support our communities. It’s also an easy opportunity to get to know fellow associates and people in our communities. Earning the Civic 50 award recognizes the hard work our associates make to improving the lives of others. Over the last 10 years, our FW Connects committee has helped coordinate opportunities and involvement across a wide-range of organizations, and supports associate-led and sponsored events across all of our markets.” – Josh Cain, on behalf of FW Connects Committee.
We’re honored to receive this distinction for our continuing efforts to connect our business values to the needs of our community. Congratulations to everyone who has participated in and supported all of First Western’s efforts to give back to the communities we serve!
