2017 Economic & Market Outlook

In January 2017, Chief Investment Officer Debbie Silversmith hosted her annual economic outlook, featuring a team of panelists from First Western Trust’s Investment Policy Committee. This year’s panelists included Debbie Silversmith; Warren Olsen, co-founder and investment policy committee member at First Western Trust; Barry Julien, president and chief investment officer; Karen Post, managing director; and David Stern, Director of Investment Research at First Western Trust.

The four panelists discussed their outlook for the economy in 2017, providing insights into corporate earnings, the European market, emerging markets, interest rate hikes, and the equity and bond market in 2017.
