First Western Financial 2020 Philanthropy Efforts

DENVER, Colo. — First Western Financial (NASDAQ: MYFW), a financial services holding company headquartered in Denver, Colorado (“First Western” or “the Company”), is proud to announce a continuation of their commitment to philanthropy in 2020 with a reinforced focus on their three philanthropic pillars — the arts, economic development, and equity and equality.

As an organization, First Western believes that a holistic financial approach includes strategic philanthropy, and that through supporting philanthropic causes, it helps enrich the lives of its associates and helps strengthen communities as a whole. The Company was honored to be included among 2019’s Civic 50, a designation as one of Colorado’s most community-minded organizations by CSR Solutions of Colorado and Points of Light.

In 2019, First Western was proud to volunteer with or support organizations as diverse as Junior Achievement, Food Bank of the Rockies, Roundup River Ranch, The Boys and Girls Club of America, The Kempe Foundation, Brent’s Place, and the Kareem Jackson Foundation, among many others. Through December 30, First Western donated more than $360,000 and estimated its associates volunteered over 4,000 hours of their time toward non-profit groups and sponsorships within the communities it serves.

First Western takes a similarly holistic view to managing clients’ wealth, inclusive of philanthropic giving, through its proprietary ConnectView approach. Many of the Company’s clients share a commitment to philanthropy, and First Western is proud to assist them in their efforts to craft a financial plan that reflects their values and community-mindedness. By engaging in strategic philanthropy, clients are able to support organizations and causes important to them as a part of their overall wealth story.

“2020 continues our commitment to our communities and philanthropic giving,” says First Western Marketing Director Theodore Gerbick. “We’re proud to support organizations in our communities in Colorado, Wyoming, California, and Arizona, and we’re equally proud to work with so many of our clients who share our commitment to philanthropy and community involvement. We believe that by investing in our local communities, we help fuel a stronger connection and sense of family with those around us. We are eager to help our communities and our clients to reach their goals in the new year.”
